Bizman 2.17 – Patch Notes

The latest Bizman update brings performance improvements, user experience refinements, and key feature enhancements. Here’s what’s new in version 2.17.0:

 

Optimizations

Tables Per Role – Worklogs Action Column

  • When no actions are available for a user’s role, a Lock icon is now displayed, providing clear visual feedback and preventing the Action column from appearing empty or misaligned, especially on mobile. Additionally, for roles with no available actions at all, the entire Actions column will be hidden to eliminate unnecessary space on both desktop and mobile views.

Password Vault – Shared Password Access (V2)

Improvements & Fixes:

  1. Keyboard Functionality – Fixed leftover characters when selecting users with keyboard shortcuts.
  2. Manage Access Added – Sharing and revoking access are now separate actions for clarity:
    • Share Credential – Add users.
    • Manage Access – View who has access and remove users.
  3. Permission-Based Controls – Only Account Managers and System Managers can share or revoke access.
  4. Exclude Current User from Sharing – Users can no longer share credentials with themselves to avoid confusion.

Notifications

Fix: Mentions in Client Notes

  • Clicking a mention notification will now take the user directly to the specific client note where they were tagged.

Client Management

Assign Project Manager per Client (Tenants)

  • Users can now designate a Project Manager when creating or editing a client under a tenant.
  • PM assignment is optional, and notification emails are not included in this update.

Sorting Fixes & Improvements

  • Clients Summary (Tasks & Hours) – Sorting fixed.
  • User Daily Statistics – Added sorting by hours.
  • User Statistics (Total Hours) – Fixed incorrect sorting order.
  • Client Statistics (Month Column) – Fixed incorrect sorting.
  • Client Statistics (Hours) – Added sorting by hours.
  • Ratio Statistics – Added sorting by columns.
  • Task List (Priority Field) – Fixed sorting order:
    • Ascending → Low → High
    • Descending → High → Low

Timer & Worklogs

Task Type Sorting

  • The first 3 task types shown will be the most used by the individual user.
  • Remaining task types will be displayed alphabetically.

Performance

Validate Hours – Large Entry Fix

  • Resolved page freeze issues when changing filters after loading a large number of entries (e.g., switching filters after displaying 500+ records).
