Bizman 2.18.0 - Release notes

This update brings focused improvements to make Bizman more reliable, user-friendly, and secure. It includes updated sorting behavior across menus, enhanced HubSpot email integration, timer start optimization, and stronger worklog validation. It also includes hotfixes to the Passwords Vault and prepares the platform for changes tied to the Tenancy V2 migration.

Read on for the full details.

New & Improved

  • Sorting Fixes Across Menus
We’ve corrected sorting behavior in multiple areas where ascending/descending order was reversed or unavailable. You can now sort properly in:
    • Management > Clients > Summary (Tasks & Hours)
    • Statistics > User Daily (by Hours)
    • Statistics > By User (Total Hours)
    • Statistics > By Client (Month column & Hours)
    • Statistics > Ratio (All columns)

  • HubSpot Page View for Bizman Emails
Enhanced HubSpot integration: when users verify their registration via email, the contact property “Completed Onboarding” is now updated automatically.

Fixes & Optimizations

  • Timer Start Optimization
Improved performance when starting a timer — task lists now load consistently for both task and worklog views.
  • Clients Page Logos
Fixed an issue where client logos were not consistently displayed across browsers and sessions.
  • Worklog Validation
Strengthened backend validation to block edits on worklogs under review, ensuring data integrity beyond just UI restrictions.
    stronger worklog validation

  • Permissions Update: Merge Option
The Merge option for duplicate worklogs will no longer appear for users without Edit Worklog permissions, ensuring proper access control.
  • Announcement Alerts
    Improved announcement alerts:
    • Notifications now sync properly across multiple tabs.
    • Limited to 3 snoozed announcements at a time to prevent spammy reappearance after logout/login.

Hotfix: Password Vault – Shared Access (Version 2)

We’ve made several improvements to the Shared Password functionality:

  1. Keyboard Support – Fixed the leftover characters issue when selecting users.
  2. Manage Access – Clearer separation of sharing and revoking access:
    • Share Credential – Add users.
    • Manage Access – View and remove user access.
  3. Permissions – Only Account Managers and System Managers can share or revoke access.
  4. Self-Sharing Prevention – Users can no longer share credentials with themselves to avoid confusion

Migration work for Tenancy V2 is ongoing; some features will be finalized after migration.
