Bizman 2.16.0 - Release Notes

This release focuses on improving consistency, fixing routing issues, and tightening validations across Bizman to provide a smoother user experience.

Fixes & Improvements

Timer

Task Title Display: Long task titles in the timer now show an ellipsis (…) instead of breaking the layout.

Credentials

Client Field Requirement: The Client field is now mandatory when creating shared credentials. Prevents “orphan” credentials that don’t appear in client-based filters. Ensures better organization and visibility when filtering by client status.

Notifications

Mentions in Client Notes: Clicking a notification for a mention now takes you directly to the exact client note where you were tagged.

Tasks

Special Characters in Duplicated Tasks: Fixed an issue where duplicating tasks with special characters (e.g., |, ", /) in the name added unexpected characters.

Authentication & Login

Post-OTP/Login Redirect: After logging in or completing OTP, users are now redirected back to their originally intended page (e.g., /tasks).

Auth Page Alignment: Fixed UI and input validation inconsistencies on auth.develop.bizman.io
to match the main Bizman app.

Tenancy

Improved 404 Handling: If a tenant page is unavailable, users will now see a clear message with a button to return to their active tenants.

Worklogs

Disabled Clients Restriction: Worklog restoration is now blocked for disabled clients to maintain data consistency.

URLs & Validation

Password Manager & Task Links: Added validation for manually entered URLs.

Now supports links starting with https://, www., or direct domains like page.com.
