Navigating Bizman: Comprehensive Guide to All Features

Bizman is designed to streamline time tracking, task management, and password management all in one platform. Here's an overview of all Bizman features.

The Dashboard

The dashboard is your command center for productivity, offering a snapshot of your progress and pending tasks. At a glance, you can view insightful graphs depicting your worked hours, either for yourself or your team, based on permissions. Detailed summaries outline daily, monthly, last month, and yearly work hours. Distinguishing billable from non-billable hours is made easy with clear data representation.

Moreover, the dashboard offers a glimpse of your upcoming and ongoing tasks, ensuring you maintain control over your to-do list. Overdue tasks are highlighted for immediate attention. Quick actions and a summary of recently visited sections streamline navigation, enhancing user experience. In addition, a dedicated time clock section allows you to easily clock in and out, optimizing your time management and contributing to efficient workflow management.

Timer

Navigating our time-tracking feature is straightforward. Simply click the clock icon to start a new timer, with the ability to automatically see any active tasks associated to a client chosen. Users have the flexibility to configure multiple timers to match different tasks and seamlessly switch between them. Pausing, stopping, or switching timers is a breeze, ensuring precise time tracking for enhanced productivity.

Password Tools

The Password Tools module serves as our dedicated solution for secure password storage and sharing within organizations. It consists of two sections: Password Manager and Password Logs. Within the Password Manager, users can add and store credentials. The tool features a "Generate Password" option to eliminate the need to create passwords manually. Users can choose between "Personal" or "Shared" categorization. "Shared" is designed for viewing accounts and credentials across the entire team, while "Personal" is reserved for passwords intended for the user's exclusive personal use.

TASK

  • Add New Task

Creating a new task in Bizman is a streamlined process to facilitate successful execution. Begin by providing a clear and descriptive title. You can input text and enhance context by dragging and dropping images directly into the Task Description's text editor.

Next, specify the estimated hours required to complete the task, helping manage workload and resources effectively. Assign a team member to the task, designating responsibility and ensuring accountability. Additionally, associate the task with the respective client, providing context and aligning tasks with client projects.

Set the priority level and due date, enabling effective task management and ensuring timely completion. Finally, identify the client related to the task and add followers, involving relevant stakeholders and promoting collaboration throughout the task's lifecycle.

  • Board View

The board view offers users a visual and intuitive way to organize and view tasks. Users can categorize tasks based on their status, such as "Open," "In Progress," “Queued,” or "Completed." The board layout resembles online boards that allow for clear visualization of tasks at different stages of completion. Additionally, the board view provides flexible filtering options, enabling users to customize their display based on specific criteria such as due date, priority, assigned team member, or task type. These filters enhance task organization and help users focus on what's most important or urgent at any given time, optimizing productivity and project management within the BizMan Task Management module.

  • List View

The list view offers a structured and organized display of tasks. Users can view tasks categorized by status, providing a clear overview of what needs attention, what's in progress, and what's already completed. This format helps users easily track the progress of tasks and prioritize their work accordingly. Moreover, the list view includes filtering options, enabling users to tailor their task display based on various parameters such as due date, priority, assigned team member, client, or task ID. By leveraging these filters, users can efficiently organize and manage their tasks, ensuring they stay aligned with their schedules.

  • Calendar View

The calendar view in the BizMan Task Management module provides users with a visual representation of their tasks within a familiar calendar format. One of the key features of this view is the ability to apply filters for customized results, allowing users to refine their calendar display based on criteria such as due dates, task priorities, assigned team members, or status. This functionality enhances task organization and streamlines scheduling, empowering users to plan and allocate their time and resources efficiently.

  • Comment

The comment section in the task provides a dynamic space for collaboration and communication. Users can engage in discussions and mention team members using @mentions to bring their attention to specific points. Additionally, the interface supports drag-and-drop functionality, allowing users to upload and share images relevant to the task seamlessly. Moreover, users can easily insert links, facilitating the sharing of important references or external resources related to the task at hand.

Management Tools

The Admin Tool is a powerful hub for administrators, providing comprehensive control and management over the platform. Admins have the ability to validate worked hours, ensuring accurate and reliable tracking of employee efforts. They can set roles and permissions, defining who can access and perform specific actions within the system, thereby maintaining security and governance.

In addition, the Management Tool allows admins to add, edit, and manage employees, clients, and divisions, offering a centralized and organized way to handle personnel and client information. Here, admins can also view employee attendance lists, aiding in tracking employee engagement and ensuring compliance with attendance policies.

Moreover, the Management Tool serves as a gateway to integrations that can significantly enhance workflow efficiency. Admins can enable these integrations, seamlessly connecting Bizman with other tools or systems to optimize operations and streamline collaborative efforts.

Timers tools

The Employee Tools module within Bizman offers a user-friendly interface for employees to manage their work-related activities efficiently. Employees can add and view their work logs, providing a transparent record of their tasks and projects. Here, users can track their attendance activity and Clock In and Clock Out to precisely track their work hours and monitor attendance. Additionally, employees can view their active timers, both running and paused, providing real-time visibility into ongoing tasks and projects.

For administrators, the module allows them to oversee the activity of all employees by providing the capability to view all active timers across the organization. This centralized tracking enhances administrative oversight and ensures systematic workflow management within Bizman’s Employee Tools module.

Notification Settings

Under Account Settings is the Notification Settings tab. The Notifications Settings provides users with control over their notification preferences. Users can tailor their notification experience by enabling or disabling alerts for specific events. These include notifications for newly created tasks, comments on tasks, task updates, mentions directed at them, and reminders for overdue tasks.

For administrators, the tab offers additional notification settings. They can choose to be notified when a client's Bank of Hours is nearing expiration, ensuring proactive management of client hours. Moreover, admins can opt to receive notifications if an inactive user attempts to log in or reset their credentials, enhancing security measures and promoting awareness of account activity. This level of customization ensures users and administrators stay informed according to their specific needs and responsibilities within Bizman.
